ABOUT ME

I'm a senior at Swarthmore College completing a B.A. in Computer Science and a B.S. in General Engineering. I'm currently applying to graduate programs with interests spanning Human-Computer Interaction, Robotics, Computational Mathematics, and AI Policy.

My background reflects the breadth and depth that come with a STEM-focused liberal arts education. I've taken a wide range of courses—from compilers and computer vision to mobile robotics, nonlinear dynamics, and numerical methods—using an equally diverse set of languages, including C, C++, OCaml, MATLAB, and Python.

Beyond the classroom, I serve as Vice President of the Swarthmore College Computer Society, a long-standing student-led organization that provides services to the broader student body. I've also been a teaching assistant for five semesters' worth of computer science and engineering courses, and I currently lead Swarthmore's rock climbing club as president. When I'm not working with computers, you can usually find me watching the Patriots, gaming with friends, or exploring new music!

Swarthmore College

Teacher's Assistant

August 2023 - Current

I TA for intro to intermediate level computer science and engineering courses for both the Computer Science and Engineering departments. I work directly with students to assist with homework, labwork, and test preperation. I also had a short stint as a live model for an art class!

Reliable Robotics

Software Engineering Intern

May - August 2025

I designed, developed, and tested mission-critical display systems for remote operation of automated aircraft. I primarily worked on “big board,” a large-scale mission-critical display, primarily developed in LitJS and deployed on an AWS EC2 instance. I worked with ADSB flight data and set up the foundation for integration of telemetered aircraft data into big board.

Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science

Undergraduate Research Assistant

May - August 2024

I research deployment challenges for Reinforcement Learning-based Traffic Signal Control (TSC). I have organized 200+ works in the RL-based TSC field into a novel deployment challenge classification taxonomy. I have continued to work for CMU's AI for Social Good lab remotely since the conclusion of my summer REU program.
